Blissful Adventure Awaits

Join us for SUP Yoga, one of the most amazingly fun and invigorating yet peaceful and relaxing experiences you can have in Connecticut. Our SUP Yoga classes are guaranteed to give you a unique experience as you enjoy the fusion of an ancient wellness practice with one of the hottest new paddle sports.

Each class begins with basic Stand Up Paddle boarding instruction from our experienced SUP guides. You'll quickly master the balance and stroke required on the board and use your new paddling skills to make your way along the river while taking in the beauty that surrounds you.

Once you've paddled to the class location, you'll take a seated posture on their board and our certified yoga teacher will guide you to a centered state of being before leading you through a fun, exploration of yoga on a floating, outdoor mat.As you approach the end of practice, a blissful relaxation pose awaits to complete your experience.

Class Location

Classes are held on the Upper Mill Pond in Collinsville (a beautiful part of Canton, CT). The Mill Pond is a small lake created by an historic hydropower dam on the Farmington River and is the perfect place for class as the current is very mild and the water depth ranges from only one foot up to eight feet in certain locations. The water is crystal clear ensuring you will enjoy the site of the river bottom including many fish. Ducks, geese and occasional bald eagles will join you for class!

Certified Teachers and Specially Selected Equipment

SUP Yoga Classes are led by a certified yoga instructor. The SUP boards are specially selected for their stability to make balance easy. The boards also offer a full-length, non-slip mat on the surface. Each board comes equipped with a life preserver, paddle, anchor and gear tether for your paddle and vest to keep all in place.
